The LG 27GN750 is one of the many new generations of 27-Inch 1080p 240Hz IPS monitors with 1ms response times and was released in February 2020.
Performance: Boasting an advertised 1ms g2g response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 400 cd/m2 brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, 16.7m color depth, and 99% sRGB gamut. You can expect amazing gaming performance and great color accuracy. It holds up well against similar IPS monitors but can’t compete with the response times of the latest generation TN panels.
Design & Build Quality: The design is similar to LGs other gaming monitors with 3 very thin bezels and a triangular base. Unfortunately, the stand is plastic and is not very sturdy, especially is you raise the monitor height. The stand allows you to adjust height, tilt, and rotation but not swivel. There are 3 x USB ports, audio jack, display port 1.4, and 2 x HDMI ports on the back. A hook on the back of the stand allows for some cable management.
OSD, Calibration and Setup: The OSD is controlled by a joystick on the bottom of the monitor and there are several presets. The out of the box color accuracy is great but the panel suffers from some backlight bleed in dark scenes.
Adaptive Sync Technology: G-Sync Compatible
Verdict: The LG 27GN750 is one of the best 1080p 240hz IPS monitors offering extreme performance and great color accuracy. A great choice for anyone who wants a balance of good colors and performance.
