Best 360Hz Monitors
In late 2020 we saw the world’s first 360hz monitors. They are the world’s fastest displays, perfect for e-sports and fast-paced competitive games like counterstrike or overwatch. They represent a major step forward for 1080p gaming offering refresh rates 1.5x faster than the best 240hz monitors.
This new generation of monitors are the first to support NVIDIAs reflex latency analyzer a new technology that shows your system latency performance by measuring the time taken for your mouse clicks to result in a change of pixels (i.e. a muzzle flash).
At the time of writing, there are four 360hz monitors available with more releasing later this year.
As expected, the first generation are 1080p 360hz monitors, but we look forward to seeing higher resolutions of 1440p or 4k at 360hz in future years (note that we are still waiting for 4k 240hz). Therefore, given the resolution limitation, we recommend casual (non-esports) gamers opt for a 1440p 240hz monitor.
